Description

Tashunkekokipapi correctly translated means “Young Men of the Enemy Fear His Horses”. This Oglala Sioux Chief born in 1820 participated in the Treaty at Fort Laramie in 1868 and later traveled to Washington in 1876 as part of the American Indian delegation to address their grievances against the “Great White Father”.
